Installers
For builders, cabinet makers, tilers, plumbers and fit-out crews who want installs of China-made kitchens, bathrooms and joinery that arrive checked, labelled and complete.
What the work is
Elje buyers order a fit-out from a factory in Guangdong. It lands on site as flat-packed or assembled cabinetry, stone, tiles, tapware and doors, labelled by room. Most buyers already have a builder. Some do not, or their builder will not fit goods supplied by the owner. That is where an Elje installer comes in.
What you get
- Jobs where the goods have already passed a third-party inspection before they left the factory.
- The drawings, the packing list by carton and room, and the inspection report before the delivery date.
- A buyer who has budgeted for the install, because the Project Plan prices it.
- A clear line on defects: if a part arrives damaged or wrong, the factory replaces it under the order terms. You are not asked to absorb it.
- Payment from the buyer at your own rates and terms. Elje does not sit between you and your money.
What we ask
- The licence your state requires for the work, held in the name that quotes. In Queensland that is a QBCC licence in the right class.
- Public liability insurance, and workers compensation for any staff.
- A written quote to the buyer within five business days of a site visit.
- A receiving check on delivery day: cartons counted against the packing list, damage photographed and reported within 48 hours.
- The partner standards, signed.
What it costs you
Nothing to join and nothing for a listing. When a job Elje introduced goes ahead, you pay Elje a referral fee of about 10% of the install, after the buyer pays you. The fee is disclosed to the buyer on the quote.
Where we need installers first
Brisbane, the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast, then Sydney and Melbourne. If you work elsewhere, apply anyway: we will hold your details until jobs arrive in your area.
How to apply
- Your licence number and class.
- Your insurance certificates.
- Two references from builders or homeowners you have fitted for.
- Photos of three installs you are proud of, with the suburb.
- Send them through the contact form, marked Installer.
Questions
Do I have to fit only Elje jobs?
No. You keep your own clients. Elje introductions sit alongside your normal work.
Who warrants the goods?
The factory, under the order, backed by Elje Assured where the buyer takes it. You warrant your workmanship, as you would on any job.
What if the goods are wrong on site?
Photograph and report it on the day. The defect process runs between the buyer, the factory and Elje. Your time for a return visit is quoted to the buyer like any variation.
