Every house delivered through Elje will be written up here with its real numbers: the showroom quote against the landed cost, line by line. Elje opened in October 2026. No job has been delivered through Elje yet, so this page has nothing to show today. We would rather say that than fill it with renders and borrowed photos.
What a job story will show
- The suburb, the house and the scope: which rooms, which lines, from how many factories.
- The showroom quote the buyer had, against the landed cost they paid, line by line.
- Every fee: the factory, freight, broker, GST, the Project Plan and Elje Assured.
- The timeline, planned against actual, from approval to the last cabinet fitted.
- The inspection report, what failed and how it was fixed.
- Defects found on site and how they were resolved.
- Photos and film of the goods arriving and going in.
- What the buyer would do differently, in their own words.
The rules
- Real jobs only. No renders, no stock photos, no job that went through someone else.
- Published with the buyer's written consent. Suburb only, never a street address, unless they ask.
- The bad parts stay in: a late container, a failed inspection, a chipped door.
- Factories by code, never by name.
Until the first job lands
The prices on this site are estimates, labelled as estimates. Our worked example of a $60,000 order shows every fee on both sides. The first job stories replace those estimates as they are delivered.
