Showroom vs landed
The same fit-out priced two ways: in an Australian showroom, and landed from the factory to site. The first film is made on the first delivered job.
What each film will show
- The buyer's real showroom quote, with the store's name removed.
- The landed cost from the job's invoices: factory, freight, broker, GST and Elje's fees.
- Where the specs match and where they do not: board, hardware, stone thickness, finish.
- The gap in dollars and in per cent, and whether it was worth it.
Honest notes
Where local was close or cheaper, the film says so. The Landed Promise works the same way: if a like-for-like local quote beats our landed price, we tell you to buy local.
The rules
- Real jobs and real factories only, filmed with consent.
- Factory names and faces only where the factory agrees, and never before an introduction.
- No street addresses on screen.
- Every number on screen comes from the job's documents, and is shown on the job story too.
