Four kinds of film, one set per job: what it cost, what arrived, where it was made and what the numbers were. We have not filmed a job yet, because there has not been one.
The four formats
| Format | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Showroom vs landed | The same kitchen or bathroom priced in an Australian showroom and landed from the factory, side by side |
| Unboxing a whole house | Delivery day: the container opened, cartons counted against the packing list, damage found or not |
| Inside the factory | The floor where the order is made: machines, finishes, the inspector at work |
| Real numbers | The buyer and their builder walking through every line of the cost, on camera |
The rules
- Real jobs and real factories only, filmed with consent.
- Factory names and faces only where the factory agrees, and never before an introduction.
- No street addresses on screen.
- Every number on screen comes from the job's documents, and is shown on the job story too.
