Estimating integrations
Elje landed prices as a supplier price file inside the estimating software you already use, so the cheapest line in your estimate can be ours by default.
Where we start
| Software | How supplier prices get in | Elje plan |
|---|---|---|
| Buildxact | Supplier catalogues through the Buildxact catalogue API or an Excel or CSV upload. Public catalogues reach every builder who connects; managed catalogues reach only the builders the supplier names | First. A public Elje catalogue, plus a managed catalogue per Pro builder |
| Tradify | The builder imports a supplier price list CSV on Tradify's template and maps the columns | A Tradify-ready CSV download each month |
| Simpro | Supplier catalogue files (CSV or ZIP), or a generic import matched on part number | A generic-format CSV, matched on EL code |
| Databuild, Cubit, Groundplan | No published supplier price-file route that we could find | Talking to each; Excel export in the meantime |
What is in the price file
- EL code as the supplier code, unique per row.
- Description, category and subcategory.
- Unit and the landed unit cost, ex GST, to your region.
- Price date and valid-until date, because freight and the exchange rate move.
- Lead time in weeks, the compliance standard and the certificate number.
- A link to the item's range page.
What a landed price file is not
It is never a bare factory price. Every number is landed: factory price, freight, insurance, port and broker, duty and delivery. GST is added by your software, the way it is for every other supplier.
When
The Excel and CSV exports come with Elje Pro in late 2027. Direct catalogue connections follow as each software partner agrees.
Questions
Will prices change after I quote?
Each row has a valid-until date. Inside that date the landed price holds for an order placed with the factory, except for a change in duty or a freight surcharge, which we show before you order.
My software is not on the list.
Tell us which one. Almost every estimating package takes a spreadsheet, and we will build the format it wants.
