For building designers and interior designers
Put a landed price next to every selection while the drawings are still open. Your design gets built as drawn, not value-engineered at lock-up.
Why designers send us plans
- The selections survive the builder's pricing, because the landed number is in the room before the cuts start.
- Your client sees what the design really costs, landed, not a showroom range.
- Joinery made to your drawings by factories that make to drawings every day.
- Samples in hand before anyone commits: door fronts, stone, tiles and a tap.
How it fits your fee
Elje does not draw and does not sell design. You keep the design fee and the client. We price, check compliance and run the introduction to the factories.
If you send a job that goes ahead, you can be paid a share of our commission under a referral agreement. See Refer and earn.
What we need on the drawings
- Joinery elevations and plans with overall sizes, carcass and door material, edge, handle or handleless, and hardware.
- Benchtop shapes with cut-outs, edge profile and thickness.
- Tile set-out per room, with the slip rating each area needs.
- A fixture schedule with tapware finish and outlet types.
The spec library
From 2028, every Elje range item will have free Revit, ArchiCAD, SketchUp and DWG objects with its EL code, so a selection on your drawing links straight to its landed price.
Questions
Will Elje take my client?
No. Elje does not design, and the client is introduced to factories through you. Your name stays on the selections.
Who pays Elje?
Your client pays the $990 Project Plan (free on your first job) and Elje Assured, 2% of the order with a $600 minimum. The factory pays a 5% introduction fee. Every fee is printed on every quote. Your trade account is free.
