Each step between the factory and your house adds a margin. Elje removes the steps, not the checks.

The promise

Elje's job is to show you the whole number. If an Australian supplier will supply the same thing for less than our landed price, buying local is the better deal, and we will say so in writing.

What like-for-like means

  • Same items, sizes and quantities
  • Same or better materials and finish: board, door finish, stone, tapware internals
  • Same certificates: WaterMark, WELS, slip ratings, RCM
  • Supply only against supply only, delivered to your site, including GST
  • A written quote, current, from an Australian business

How it works

  • Send the local quote with your plans.
  • We set it beside your landed estimate, line by line.
  • Where local wins a line, we say so and leave that line out of the Project Plan.

The written terms are being finalised with our lawyer before the promise applies to an order.
