Elje / Sell to Australia through Elje
The scorecard
Every Verified factory has a scorecard built from real Elje orders. It decides who is introduced to each buyer. Nobody can pay to change it.
Elje finds the buyer and matches each line to at least three Verified factories, ranked by on-time rate, defects and quote accuracy. Factories cannot pay to rank higher.
What is measured
| Measure | How we measure it | Good is |
|---|---|---|
| On-time shipping | Ship date achieved against the date on your proforma invoice | Shipped on or before the date |
| Defects | Lines that fail the inspection before shipping, and claims after delivery | No fails, no claims |
| Quote accuracy | Final invoice against your quote. Items missed from the quote | Invoice equals quote |
| Response time | Business days from drawings to a complete quote | 5 days or less |
| Price | Landed price in Australia against other factories quoting the same line | Competitive, not always cheapest |
How it is used
- On every job, the factories with the best scores in that category are sent the drawings first.
- The buyer sees each quote with the factory's code and its scorecard.
- Cheapest does not win by default. A slightly higher price with a perfect record often wins.
- A new factory starts with a neutral score and builds it with each order.
Rules
- No paid ranking. Verified makes you eligible. It does not move you up.
- You see your own scorecard and every order behind it.
- You can dispute a result with evidence, for example the inspection photos, within 14 days.
- Buyers' names are never shown on the scorecard.
