Elje / Sell to Australia through Elje
Apply
Send your catalogue, your certificates for Australia and two export references. We reply within 10 business days and visit the factories we want to work with.
What to send
- Company name, business licence and factory address.
- Product categories and your catalogue as PDF.
- Australian certificates you hold: WaterMark and WELS numbers, AS 4586 slip reports, E0 or E1 test reports, AS 1288 glass reports, RCM, or the test reports you have for other markets.
- Two export customers we can contact, one in Australia or New Zealand if you have one.
- Minimum order, normal lead time, and how you pack for export.
- A contact who answers in English, and one in Chinese.
What happens next
- We check your documents and certificates on the official registers.
- If your products fit our buyers, we arrange a visit to the factory.
- You sign the protection agreement.
- You start receiving drawings to quote. From mid 2027 this needs Elje Verified at A$300 a month.
Products we will not take
- Engineered stone, of any brand or silica content claim. It is banned in Australia.
- Tapware or sanitary products without WaterMark certification.
- Anything that contains asbestos. Australia tests imports, and tile bodies and fibre boards are checked.
